A disturbance in the Warp

In August, the immortal legions of the Ruinous Powers - the Chaos Daemons - will pour forth once more from the Realm of Chaos to drown the Warhammer world and the galaxy of the 41st Millennium beneath a tide of blood and destruction. Even now, mystics are assailed by nightmarish visions of horror and death, the fractured minds of madmen echo with sibilant whispers, and the doomed clutch symbols of their weak gods closer to them. A host of incredible new Citadel miniatures for both Warhammer 40,000 Chaos Daemons armies and Warhammer Daemons of Chaos armies will soon be released upon mortal battlefields. Новый WD и ХСМ

 Кодекс ХСМ откладывается на октябрь. В новом ВД нет ничего про новый кодекс. Есть статьи о демонах, но ничего про хсм. Видимо, по этому этот журнал был отозван и переверстан. Скорее всего, в сентябре будет в упущен апдейт для кодекса демонов, как для ФБ, так и для 40к в WD.


Будут изменены цены, правила на колесницы.
Новые модели для плаг биреров, скримеров, фламеров и нурглингов.

I can confirm for you all that codex Chaos Space Marines will be released in October at the earliest.


The White Dwarf features Daemons. Lots of them but no Chaos Marines. The month after is the 40k starter box so that means no codex until October. I'm a bit bummed out by this but I suppose it gives me longer to save up.


However the boxed game sounds like it's going to be pretty sweet so perhaps I won't actually have any money left.

So in next months white dwarf there is going to be a leaflet with updates for Codex daemons and daemons in fantasy.

Some changes to old units, flamers are now only S4 in fantasy and some units have had point changes. ect.

Also new units slannesh massive chariot (2D6 +1 impact hits) and other weird chariot thing in 1 kit. the other thing looks and acts kind of like a mobile meat lawnmower. this is in both games and acts like a chariot in 40K.

also soul grinders are coming to fantasy! has T7 6 wounds and a load of upgrades for its shooting. looks pretty mental. the model (40K kit) in the white dwarf and leaflet was on the same base as the giant goblin spider.

also new models for plague bearers (really really nice, some have fly heads) screamers (look similar but with lots of eyes), flamers (similar) and nurgalings (looks like a pile of funny little germ monsters you might get in a dish washer advert).

Also new beastman shaman.

should be out next week :).

Just got some info from my regional distributor. He claims the next wave of flyers is close. So perhaps no CSM after all.

my source told me that the Chaos Codex was done, had been circulated around head office and was due for shipping this week. However, it is possible that they could release it September 1st with Flyers for August

Parasite and DoM are done and fine cast. Parasite is in a small box and DoM is a clam shell.

Апдейт по ХСМ

GW осталось очень недовольно дистрибуцией 6ки, в плане логистики, поэтому кодекс, следующий  после  хсм, может быть перенесен на 2013 число. А пока будут издавать флайеры и террейн.

Well hello all. I had my conference earlier today. Nothing really new except that the codex after csm will not hit till 2013. Right now GW is VERY upset at the failure of 6ed distribution. So they will try to get THAT sorted out then chaos them terraim and flyers. There was also NO mention of a fantasy book this year. Take it how it is but thats what I have. Any more details I can gather will be here.

a local gw store had put a event calendar online and removed it some hours later. It might be, because for August 4th it stated "Codex release party", which would concur with the newest rumors. Maybe this helps.
