Tyranid Rumor Compilation

-Shadow in the Warp: is 12 Inches, -3 LD for psychic leadership test

-Synapse is the same

-Warlord traits include buff to synapse range, reducing cover, turning a forest into more carnivorous one, etc.

-Psychic powers include another buff to synapse range, FNP, pinning test with additional leadership modifier, pseudo-psychic shriek etc.

-Instinctive behavior has become more detailed, needing to roll a D6 to further figure out what specific effects it brings. (For each Lurk, Hunt, Feed behaviour, roll a D6 : there are results for rolls of 1-3,4-5, and 6 respectively)

-Lurk: 1-3 Fall Back / 4-5 Can shoot only when in cover / 6 Can shoot only when in cover, gains Stealth

-Hunt: 1-3 Go to Ground / 4-5 Shoot closest unit / 6 Shoot closest enemy unit, gains Preferred Enemy

-Feed: 1-3 Inflicts hits on themselves / 4-5 Charge closest enemy unit / 6 Charge closest enemy unit, gains Rage

-Instinctive behaviors are fixed per unit just like in the former codex.

-Taking in to account its Crushing Claws, Haruspex has decent strength (Stronger than Mawloc, weaker than Carnifex) with small number of attacks.
-Has Acid Blood and AP2 tongue attack

-Pyrovore remains largely unchanged save that it gets a slight boost to wounds, attacks and initiative.
-Its cost is slightly reduced while its Acid Maw attack is given a higher strength but at the cost of making only a single attack.

-Mawloc and Trygon are both cheaper. -Mawloc especially is about 20~25% cheaper.
-Mawloc's special rule Terror from the Deep is still much same, except that when the damage is resolved, cover is literally useless
-Mawloc can also resolve damage (via Terror from the Deep) more than once if there isn't enough space.
-Trygon and Trygon Prime have slightly less attacks and their tunnel rules remain largely unchanged.

-Harpy is also cheaper. Its wounds and attacks are slightly boosted.

-Carnifex and Tyrannofex both became considerably cheaper. Around 25~30 percent or so.
-Carnifex can still take Devourer with Brainleech Worms which remain same as before. (Just without its penalty to enemy leadership)
-Carnifex has less attacks and slightly higher initiative, but it can inflict more than one Hammer of Wrath hits.
-No 2+ armor option for Carnifexes

-Both types of Gaunts became slightly cheaper albeit the upgrades are a bit more expensive.

-Zoanthropes are also cheaper
-Malantai was not destroyed by a single Zoanthrope.

-Lictors: Deep Strike, no scattering, act as living locator beacon.
-Now have Infiltrate but without bonus to reserve rolls. About 20% pts drop
-Deathleaper : Slight pts reduction, Changed to HQ. Has warlord traits giving additional VP when it wins a challenge.
-No Fearless but gained Infiltrate. Enemies can only shoot snap shots against it and it still gives a penalty to enemy leadership.
-Lost, No what was that and Where'd it go

-Ravener: Slightly less attack.
-May take expensive champion upgrade which can remove infantry model in b2b if all attacks hit.
